La Berceuse

1/2 oz Absinthia Absinthe Superieure
1 1/2 oz tequila blanco
1/2 part raw organic blue agave nectar
1 lemon, halved
3 strawberries, hulled and quartered
Seltzer

To prepare:
Muddle strawberries and agave nectar.
Add the juice of one-half lemon, spirits and ice.
Shake and strain into a tall, ice-filled glass and top with seltzer. Cheers!

This cocktail is named after a Van Gogh painting. While Van Gogh was an absinthe drinker, it was not the absinthe that caused any of his famous shenanigans, nor did it cause him to cut off his ear.
